Encapsulating our commitment to transparent design, the No. 5 Series subverts all expectations of an upholstered sofa. Rather than hiding a messy frame within layers of cushioning, we opted for an exposed solid white oak frame, which demands careful precision that’s beautiful through and through. Custom brass detailing calls to mind a mid-century sensibility infused with airy modernity. Upholstered using many of the same premium materials we use in our mattresses, No. 5 pieces feature Steelcut Trio by Kvadrat fabric. Designed to accommodate three basic configurations (chaise, sectional and sofa) and with no pre-set configuration in mind, the No.5 is infinitely modifiable. Wood is hand-rubbed and finished with Kalon Bare Finish, a natural oil/wax finish painstakingly developed to preserve the delicate and luminous beauty of raw wood.
